The UFCP is powered by which bus?

Essential bus

Non-essential bus

Power distribution in an airplane separates what must stay alive for safe flight (on the essential bus) from systems that are helpful but not critical (on the non-essential bus). The UFCP, a cockpit control interface for avionics, falls into the latter category. It supports pilot workflow and information access but isn’t required to keep the aircraft controllable or to land safely. By placing it on the non-essential bus, the aircraft can preserve power for critical flight controls and instruments during electrical limitations, while still providing the UFCP function when power is available. If power is tight and the non-essential bus must be shed, the UFCP would lose power, consistent with its non-critical role.
